Position Title: Assisted Living Concierge
Reports To: Executive Director or Resident Services Director
Position Summary:
The Assisted Living Concierge serves as the first point of contact for residents, families, visitors, and vendors. This role provides exceptional customer service while supporting residents with daily requests, coordinating communication, assisting with activities and appointments, and creating a welcoming, safe, and engaging environment. The Concierge helps ensure residents receive personalized attention and a high-quality living experience.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Welcome residents, families, guests, and vendors in a warm, professional manner.
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls.
- Assist residents with requests, questions, and concerns, ensuring timely follow-up.
- Coordinate transportation requests, appointments, and community outings.
- Maintain visitor logs and monitor building access according to community policies.
- Communicate resident needs to nursing, housekeeping, maintenance, dining, and other departments.
- Assist with move-ins, orientation, and welcoming new residents and families.
- Support activity programming by promoting events, assisting with setup, and encouraging resident participation.
- Help residents schedule salon appointments, transportation, therapy, and other services.
- Maintain accurate records, calendars, and communication logs.
- Distribute mail, packages, and community announcements.
- Assist with emergency communication procedures as directed.
- Ensure the reception and lobby areas remain clean, organized, and inviting.
- Perform administrative tasks including filing, copying, data entry, and ordering office supplies.
- Uphold resident confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA and community policies.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
