About the Role
We are a growing agricultural company operating across the United States and Mexico, focused on delivering innovative solutions in biological inputs and sustainable agriculture.
We are seeking a Vice President of Sales to lead and scale our commercial efforts across North America. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for driving revenue growth, building a high-performing sales team, and strengthening our presence in key agricultural markets.
This position reports directly to the CEO and plays a critical role in shaping and executing our go-to-market strategy.
Key ResponsibilitiesRevenue Growth & Execution
- Own and deliver revenue targets across the US and Mexico
- Build and manage a healthy sales pipeline with accurate forecasting
- Drive disciplined execution across sales activities, accounts, and regions
- Maintain visibility into performance metrics, including pipeline coverage, win rates, and sales cycles
Sales Strategy & Go-to-Market
- Execute a clear go-to-market strategy tailored to the US and Mexican agricultural markets
- Support market segmentation by crop, region, and customer type
- Identify and prioritize high-potential opportunities across growers, distributors, and partners
- Collaborate with leadership on pricing, promotions, and commercial initiatives
Team Leadership
- Lead and develop the sales team across both countries, including territory managers and support roles
- Establish a strong operating cadence (1:1s, pipeline reviews, performance tracking)
- Recruit and onboard new sales talent as the company expands
- Foster a culture of accountability, ownership, and continuous improvement
Channel & Customer Development
- Strengthen and expand relationships with key growers, distributors, and strategic partners
- Support development of distributor networks
- Participate in customer visits, field trials, and industry events
- Personally engage in key accounts and high-impact opportunities
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Operations to ensure alignment on customer demand, inventory, and service levels
- Partner with the CEO on strategic initiatives, including market expansion and new product introductions
- Provide market feedback and customer insights to support product and marketing decisions
QualificationsRequired
- 10+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably in agriculture, biologicals, crop inputs, or related industries
- 5+ years in a sales leadership role managing teams and revenue targets
- Proven track record of achieving and scaling multi-million-dollar revenue goals
- Experience working with growers, distributors, and/or agricultural channels
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, hands-on startup environment
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (US & Mexico)
Preferred
- Experience working across both US and Mexican markets
- Bilingual English/Spanish (strongly preferred)
- Agronomic or technical knowledge related to crop production or soil health
- Experience building or expanding distributor networks
- Familiarity with CRM systems (Zoho, Salesforce, or similar)
Pay: $140,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year

Work Location: On the road
