Join the Team at Crawfish Junction
Crawfish Junction is looking for an experienced, creative, and hands-on Chef to help lead our kitchen into its next chapter.
We aren't looking for someone to come in and completely reinvent what we do—we're looking for someone who respects what has made us successful while bringing fresh ideas, creativity, and leadership to help us continue growing.
You'll work directly alongside the owner to learn our current operations, build on our strong foundation, develop exciting daily and weekly specials, and collaborate on creating an updated menu.
What You'll Do
- Learn and execute our current menu and recipes
- Work alongside ownership to develop a refreshed menu while maintaining our customer favorites
- Create creative daily and weekly food specials
- Lead by example and work on the line with the team
- Assist with scheduling, prep planning, and kitchen organization
- Maintain high standards for food quality, consistency, and presentation
- Monitor food costs, waste, and inventory
- Ensure a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen
- Train and mentor kitchen staff
- Maintain all health department and food safety standards
Our Kitchen Team
You'll be joining an established team that includes:
- Kitchen Manager/Catering Manager
- One full-time line cook
- Three part-time cooks
We're looking for the final piece that helps elevate our kitchen while working collaboratively with the team already in place.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience managing or leading a high-volume kitchen
- Experience creating menus and daily/weekly specials
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and perform under pressure
- Passion for quality food and hospitality
- Reliable, organized, and team-oriented
- ServSafe Manager Certification required (or ability to obtain immediately)
