PA Lifesharing, LLC is seeking compassionate, dependable, and motivated Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide support services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in the Harrisburg, PA and surrounding areas.
As a DSP, you will play a vital role in helping individuals live safely, independently, and actively within their homes and communities while promoting dignity, choice, and person-centered care.
Position Details
- Position: Direct Support Professional (DSP)
- Location: Harrisburg, Camp Hill, Mechanicsburg
- Employment Type: Part-Time and Flexible Opportunities Available
- Schedule: Day, Evening, Weekend, and PRN shifts available
- Pay Rate: Competitive pay based on experience, availability, and training
Responsibilities
- Provide direct care and supervision to individuals with disabilities
- Assist with daily living activities, including hygiene, meal preparation, medication reminders, and community participation
- Support individuals in achieving personal goals and increasing independence
- Maintain accurate documentation and communication with families and team members
- Follow individualized support plans, behavior support plans, and company policies
- Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of individuals receiving services
- Transport individuals to appointments, community outings, and activities when needed
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation preferred
- Ability to pass background checks and required clearances
- Compassionate, patient, and professional attitude
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities is preferred but not required — training provided
- Complete MyODP.org orientation and required training
