Why does the job exist?
The incumbent will provide administrative and reflective supervision to Multi-Level Response supervisors state-wide.
The MLR Manager is responsible for development and implementation of the MLR program, CQI processes, accurate and complete data collection, training development for internal and external stakeholders, management of MLR work groups and oversight of data collection.
This position will provide oversight of the statewide roll out of Multi-Level Response; therefore, incumbent may be located in any office across the state depending on division and program needs.
How does it get done?
The Multi-Level Response Manager will work to ensure the effective statewide implementation of multi level response services through direct program oversight and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders through the following:
Provide oversight of the state-wide Multi-Level Response program day to day operations (30%)
Provide administrative and clinical management/supervision to MLR Supervisors (20%)
Develop and Implement policies and procedures for the MLR program (15%)
Develop and Implement a CQI process for the MLR program (15%)
Develop and support implementation of stakeholder trainings (10%)
Ensure accurate and complete data collection (10%)
Minimum Qualification
Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Guidance and Counseling, Education, Sociology, Criminal Justice, Criminology, or Family Studies/Services and six (6) years of experience as a social work assistant and/or in social or community coordination, working with communities, working on health or social service related matters, social work/case management experience, health care, and/or behavioral health care, of which two (2) years must be supervisory experience.
Any combination of education from an accredited college or university in a related field and/or direct experience in this occupation totaling ten (10) years may substitute for the required education and experience.
Employment Requirements
Must possess and maintain a valid Driver's License. Pre-employment background investigation is required and is conditional pending results.
Working Conditions
Work is performed in an office setting: late hours and weekends work may be required. Will be exposed to regular periods of video display terminal and keyboard usage and stressful situations. Extensive travel is required. Incumbent will work under stress and frequent time constraints.
