Shop Fabricator Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and mechanically inclined Shop Fabricator to join our team. This position is responsible for fabricating rigging products made from synthetics, steel cable, and chain assemblies used in heavy lifting and cargo securement applications.
This is a hands-on role in a manufacturing environment where you will operate heavy-duty production equipment, maintain high-quality standards, and contribute to efficient production output. Previous industrial experience is a plus, but not required—we are willing to train the right candidate.
Shop Fabricator Responsibilities:
- Fabricate rigging products including synthetic slings, wire rope, and chain assemblies
- Operate and maintain heavy-duty production equipment safely and efficiently
- Measure, cut, and assemble materials to precise specifications
- Perform basic math calculations and read a tape measure accurately
- Follow production schedules to meet output and quality goals
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and company procedures
- Work independently or as part of a team to complete daily tasks
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Mechanically inclined with strong hand dexterity
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic addition/subtraction
- General understanding of manufacturing safety practices
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
- Reliable transportation required
- Previous manufacturing or industrial experience is a plus, but not required
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, bend, walk, push, pull, and lift for extended periods
- Must have good mobility and agility to move throughout the production floor
- Ability to work in a loud manufacturing environment
- Must be able to lift and handle materials as required by the job
- Background and drug screen required
Additional Requirements for Fabricator:
· Must be eligible to work in the United States
· Must have reliable transportation to the job site
