Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Residential Carpenter to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing a wide range of carpentry tasks on residential projects, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and adherence to safety standards. Your expertise will help transform blueprints and technical drawings into beautiful, functional living spaces. Responsibilities
- Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to accurately execute carpentry tasks.
- Measure, cut, assemble, and install various wood and metal components using hand tools and power tools for woodworking.
- Perform framing, siding, door hanging, cabinet installation, flooring installation, tile laying, and trim carpentry with precision.
- Operate woodworking machines safely to fabricate custom fixtures and structural elements.
- Install fixtures such as cabinets, doors, moldings, and hardware while ensuring proper fit and finish.
- Conduct restoration work including water damage remediation, plastering, rebar installation, mold remediation, and masonry repairs.
- Follow safety protocols related to power tool safety and heavy lifting; maintain a clean and organized job site.
- Collaborate with team members to interpret construction plans accurately and meet project deadlines efficiently.
- Assist with fabrication tasks using CNC machines or other equipment as needed for custom projects.
- Support remodeling projects by installing siding, flooring, drywall, or other finishing materials in residential settings.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in residential carpentry or general construction with a strong understanding of construction estimating and planning.
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings for accurate project execution.
- Skilled in using hand tools such as saws, hammers, chisels as well as power tools for woodworking including drills, sanders, and nail guns.
- Familiarity with woodworking machines and metal stud framing techniques.
- Knowledge of wood construction materials like plywood, framing lumber, trim boards, siding materials; experience with water damage restoration is a plus.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during fixture installation or remodeling tasks.
- Experience working on construction sites with a focus on safety standards; knowledge of power tool safety is essential.
- Additional skills such as plastering, tile laying, cabinetry installation or masonry are advantageous.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt quickly to changing project requirements; handyman experience is beneficial.

Pay: $25.00 - $45.00 per hour
