Seeking Part Time RN for Adult Day Health Care Center, serving elderly and other physically/mentally impaired adults. Position will perform assessments, quarterlies, flowsheets, progress notes, and other administrative duties, train nursing staff as needed, and provide nursing care to all participants, completing all documentation of services as required. Position is designed to be a floor nurse, involved in the program and delivery of services.
SCHEDULE
Shift 1: Monday to Friday from 9 AM - 2:30 PM (includes 30 minute lunch).
Shift 2: Monday & Friday from 9 AM - 2 PM.
NO NIGHTS, WEEKENDS, OR HOLIDAYS. Roughly 25 hours per week, more potentially if necessary.
APPLICANTS MUST BE:
-Organized and attentive to detail (very specific documentation required, given regulations for Adult Day Health Care centers, as outlined by state agencies)
-Able to successfully work independently and use a multidisciplinary team approach while providing professional nursing care (i.e. blood pressure and blood glucose checks, medication administration, etc.), conducting ongoing health assessments/documentation, overseeing personal care and therapy maintenance program, utilizing effective oral/written communication with providers, caregivers, and care team
-Compassionate and supportive, able to provide caregivers with training and support when needed
-Able to work well under stress, and be flexible and adaptable to a changing environment
- Adult Day Health Care Center experience highly desirable
- Experience with TurboTar Program desirable
- Possess leadership experience and understanding of office management
QUALIFICATIONS:
Licensed as a Registered Nurse by California Board of Registered Nursing with demonstrated experience. BLS and CPR required
