Serve Foundation, a start-up, not-for-profit organization curating and facilitating local volunteer opportunities, seeks an experienced and passionate Executive Director to lead day-to-day operations. This role requires a dynamic individual with exceptional leadership, strategic planning, and operational oversight skills. As a mission-driven organization combining social outreach with high-quality coffee experiences, the Executive Director will be pivotal in advancing Serve's mission and scaling its model.
Strategic Leadership
- Work closely with the founder, board of directors, and leadership team to develop and execute Serve’s short- and long-term strategy.
- Represent Serve Foundation as a spokesperson and champion its values, mission, and programs.
Operational Management
- Oversee all daily operations, ensuring alignment with Serve's mission and goals.
- Manage staff functions, including Coffee Shop Operations, Community Outreach, Marketing, and Finance, to drive performance and efficiency.
- Monitor and evaluate organizational effectiveness, implementing improvements as needed.
Community Engagement
- Along with founder, build and sustain relationships with local nonprofits, community leaders, and stakeholders to enhance Serve’s brand and impact.
- Curate and validate service programs that align with Serve's target populations, including individuals experiencing homelessness, food insecurity, and addiction.
Financial and Administrative Oversight
- Oversee budgeting, financial planning, and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with all nonprofit regulations and fiduciary responsibilities.
- Identify opportunities for fundraising, grants, and strategic partnerships to support operations and growth.
Team Leadership
- Cultivate a culture of gratitude, compassion, and excellence.
- Recruit, train, and retain high-performing team members passionate about the Serve mission.
- Foster collaboration and innovation across all levels of the organization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in nonprofit management, business administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- 10+ years of experience in leadership roles within nonprofit or social enterprises.
- Proven track record in scaling organizations and developing community programs.
- Strong financial acumen and experience with nonprofit compliance.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship building skills.

Pay: $110,000.00 - $175,000.00 per year
