Position: Dental Assistant Location: Bellevue/Redmond area
Employment Type: Permanent Full-time OR Part-time
Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety
- Prepare treatment rooms and instruments for dental procedures
- Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment
- Take digital dental x-rays and Itero scans
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care
- Prepare and maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Maintain inventory of dental supplies and place orders when necessary
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a dental assistant training program (preferred)
- X-ray certification (required)
- Proven experience as a dental assistant (preferred)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and instruments
