Clinical Pharmacist Contract Opportunity – Houston, TX

CHI St. Luke’s Health - Baylor St. Luke’s Medical Center, located in the heart of the world’s largest medical center, is seeking three (3) Pharmacists for a 10-week night-shift contract starting August 3, 2026. Locals accepted!
This is a phenomenal opportunity to work at a world-class, quaternary academic medical hospital specializing in high-acuity care, advanced cardiology, oncology, and multi-organ transplantation.
Compensation & Schedule
- Starting Pay: $80 an hour
- Shift Schedule: 10-Hour Nights (8:30 PM – 6:30 AM)
- Rotation: 7 on, 7 off (Enjoy a full week off between rotations!)
- Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
- Weekly Pay: $3,200 per week
Position Overview & Core Responsibilities
- Location: Houston, TX (Baylor St. Luke's Medical Center)
- Setting: High-acuity acute care / academic medical center (typical census of ~600 patients)
- Electronic Medical Records (EMR): EPIC
- Duties Include: Order verification, triaging nursing calls, processing Epic medication messages, retiming med administrations, reviewing carousel dispenses, sterile compounding responsibilities, and responding to codes to assist with medication preparation.
Position Requirements
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of hospital pharmacy experience is required. Strong clinical experience is a must.
- EMR Skills: EPIC experience is highly preferred.
- Certifications: Active BLS certification required.
- Licensure: Active Texas Pharmacist License required at the time of submission.
- Orientation: 12 hours of structured orientation provided.
