Responsibilities
- Clear and reset tables efficiently to maintain a clean and inviting dining space.
- Assist servers by delivering food and beverages promptly using safe handling practices.
- Maintain cleanliness in all service areas, including floors, tables, and workstations through regular cleaning and bussing.
- Handle food running duties with accuracy, ensuring orders are delivered correctly and promptly to guests.
- Support kitchen staff with basic food handling and preparation tasks as needed.
- Follow proper safety procedures during heavy lifting and manual handling to prevent injuries.
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth service flow and guest satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly, guest-focused attitude.
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and safe lifting practices.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food handling procedures.
- Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
- Willingness to perform cleaning duties, bussing, and food running responsibilities with enthusiasm.
