SCHOOL MONITOR
(6 hour)
The Beacon City School District seeks motivated individuals to join our team as Per Diem School Monitors.
Position Overview:
This work involves supervising and monitoring school-age children to maintain order and discipline throughout the school environment.
Responsibilities Include:
- Monitoring hallways
- Issuing passes
- Assisting with student supervision
- Addressing behavioral issues under the direction of school administration.
Schedule & Appointment:
- Flexible work schedule tailored to district needs and the employee's availability
- 6.5 hour workday based on the school schedule, including a 30-minute unpaid lunch (6 paid hours per day)
- Appointment through June 30, 2027
- Opportunities exist for employees with strong performance to move into roles with more consistent schedules
Qualifications:
- NYS Fingerprinting clearance required
$17.20/hour
Civil Service Eligibility Required
