Director of Operations (Full-Time)

COVA Tree is a locally owned and operated tree and plant health care company serving residential, commercial, and property management clients across the Douglas County area. Our mission is simple: care for trees as living systems and steward the life within them.
We are seeking an experienced Director of Operations to help lead daily operations, improve efficiency, and support the continued growth of the company.
Position Summary
The Director of Operations is responsible for overseeing day-to-day business operations and ensuring departments are working efficiently and effectively together. This role focuses heavily on operational leadership, team accountability, scheduling, process improvement, and overall company performance.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily company operations across field and office departments
- Support and manage department leaders to improve communication and accountability
- Improve operational systems, workflows, and internal processes
- Track KPIs, production goals, labor efficiency, and operational performance
- Work closely with leadership on budgeting, staffing, and operational planning
- Lead weekly operational and leadership meetings
- Help maintain scheduling efficiency and workflow coordination
- Identify operational issues and implement practical solutions
- Support customer service and team needs when necessary
- Assist with long-term operational growth and company structure
Qualifications
- Experience in operations management, business operations, or leadership roles
- Strong organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple moving parts in a fast-paced environment
- Experience managing teams, workflows, and operational systems
- Strong communication and accountability skills
- Tree care, service industry, or construction industry experience is a plus
Position Details
Job Type: Full-Time
Pay: $85,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
