Maintenance & Grounds Technician
Old Glory Distilling Co. is seeking a dependable and self-motivated Maintenance & Grounds Technician to help maintain the appearance, cleanliness, and functionality of our facilities and grounds. This position is responsible for routine lawn care, landscaping, power washing, general maintenance, cleaning, and repair tasks across all company properties. Duties will vary day to day based on operational needs and seasonal priorities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Grounds & Landscaping
- Mow and maintain all lawns and green spaces.
- Weed-eat and edge around buildings, sidewalks, fences, and landscaping.
- Maintain flower beds, shrubs, trees, and landscaped areas.
- Remove weeds and debris from all outdoor areas.
- Assist with seasonal landscaping projects.
Property Cleaning
- Power wash exterior building surfaces, sidewalks, patios, outdoor furniture, and other designated areas.
- Power wash interior spaces.
- Remove trash and debris from parking lots, landscaped areas, and guest spaces.
- Assist with maintaining the overall cleanliness and appearance of company properties.
Maintenance & Repairs
- Perform general maintenance and repair tasks throughout company facilities.
- Complete basic plumbing repairs and troubleshooting.
- Replace light bulbs, ceiling tiles, filters, and other routine building components.
- Perform high dusting and cleaning in hard to reach areas.
- Assist with painting, carpentry, and minor building repairs.
- Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner.
- Identify and report facility issues requiring outside contractors or specialized repairs.
Additional Responsibilities
- Assist with event setup and breakdown as needed.
- Operate and maintain maintenance equipment safely.
- Follow all safety policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned based on facility and operational needs.
Qualifications
- General maintenance experience preferred.
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and building maintenance.
- Ability to operate lawn care and power washing equipment safely.
- Ability to work independently and manage daily priorities.
- Ability to lift up to 55 pounds and perform physical labor in various weather conditions.
- Valid driver's license preferred.
Schedule
- Full-time position.
- Hours may vary based on seasonal maintenance needs and special projects.
Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
