Role : Bilingual Data Collection Moderators
Location: Remote
Duration : 2 months
Work schedule: 9AM to 5 PM CST Monday to friday
Kindly note that candidates are asked to use own laptop for work purpose
Role Overview
Moderators are responsible for running daily data collection sessions on video call. You will work under the guidance of a Project Coordinator or Project Manager to prepare each session's setup, manage participants, and oversee recording quality. Moderator initiates, observes, pauses, shares feedback, reviews, and requests a re-record if needed. This role requires professionalism, reliability, strong listening skills, and comfort interacting with participants from diverse backgrounds.
Responsibilities
- Host and run remote recording sessions, following defined project protocols.
- Set up and manage the recording platform for each session.
- Guide participants through onboarding, consent, and session instructions.
- Oversee recording quality, including checking that sessions reflect natural bilingual (Spanish & English)conversation with code switching.
- Provide feedback and request re-recording when a take doesn't meet standards.
- Track participant progress and session details for reporting.
- Handle scheduling issues such as no-shows or last-minute changes.
- Review transcripts for correctness and audio match.
- Upload and transfer recordings and session data to the central system after each session.
- Maintain professionalism, punctuality, and a respectful, welcoming demeanor with all participants.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $15.00 per hour
