We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate CA Licensed Occupational Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in patient care and a passion for helping individuals improve their quality of life through therapeutic interventions. This role typically involves working with geriatrics, and individuals with disabilities, to develop and implement effective treatment plans that enhance daily living skills and promote independence at the comfort of their personal home.

Duties
- Assess patients' needs and develop individualized care plans based on their specific goals and abilities.
- Newly graduates are welcome to apply.
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) to promote independence and enhance their quality of life.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care, including discharge planning and case management.
- Provide therapy in home health.
- Utilize knowledge of anatomy and physiology to inform treatment approaches and interventions.
- Work with individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities to facilitate skill development.
- Implement early intervention strategies for children to support their growth and development.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes in accordance with medical terminology standards.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in occupational therapy.
Experience
Candidates should possess the following skills and experiences:
- Experience in home health is preferred.
- Familiarity with occupational health practices.
- Previous work experience in skilled nursing facilities or post-acute care environments.
- Knowledge of speech therapy techniques is a plus.
- Experience working with geriatric populations.
- Strong understanding of care plans, case management processes, and patient assessments.

Pay: $70.00 - $80.00 per hour
