We are seeking a dynamic and organized Dental Office Front Office professional to join our vibrant dental practice. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing a variety of administrative tasks. Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly and handle all front desk duties with professionalism and enthusiasm
- Schedule appointments accurately using dental practice management software such as Dentrix or Eaglesoft
- Verify patient insurance coverage, including health insurance knowledge and insurance verification procedures
- Manage electronic health records for documentation review and record keeping
- Process medical and dental billing, including coding with CPT, ICD-9, ICD-10, and ICD coding standards
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and clinical confidentiality policies to protect patient information
- Answer multi-line phone systems efficiently, providing excellent patient service and appointment coordination
- Handle filing, data entry, and other clerical tasks such as typing, document review, and maintaining medical records
- Assist with intake procedures, including collecting patient information and updating medical history forms
- Support office management activities to ensure a clean, organized, and welcoming environment
Skills
- Proven experience in medical or dental office administration with strong clinic experience
- Knowledge of EMR systems such as Epic, Meditech, Athenahealth, Dentrix, Eaglesoft or similar platforms
- Familiarity with medical terminology, dental terminology, and health information management practices
- Ability to perform medical coding (CPT, ICD-9/10) accurately for billing purposes
- Excellent computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and office management software
- Strong customer service skills with professional phone etiquette and effective communication abilities
- Bilingual capabilities are highly desirable to serve diverse patient populations effectively
- Experience with insurance verification processes and health insurance policies including Medicare is preferred
- Ability to handle medical administrative support tasks efficiently while maintaining clinical confidentiality at all times
- Knowledge of hospital or clinic experience is a plus for understanding healthcare workflows

Mon - Tues: 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM
Wed: OFF
Thursday 12:30 PM - 6 PM
Fri and Sat Alternate: 8:30 AM - 5 PM
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
