Team Member / Retail Associate – FurEver Friends Danbury Pet Store
Overview
Seeking a friendly, reliable and motivated team member who is passionate about animals and providing exceptional customer service. Responsibilities include caring for puppies and other animals, maintaining a clean and welcoming environment, assisting customers with pet care education, stocking inventory, processing sales and support daily store operations. The ideal candidate is energetic, detail-oriented, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and committed to creating positive experiences for both pets and their families. What You’ll Be Doing (Team Member Duties)
- Greet customers with pawsitive energy and provide friendly customer service.
- Assist with daily store operations, ensuring everything runs smoothly.
- Maintaining self, animal, and facility cleanliness
- Feed, care for, and socialize with puppies to keep them happy and healthy.
- Restock, organize, and merchandise products such as food, toys, and supplies.
- Support transactions and help customers with purchases at the POS system when needed.
- Follow company policies and state regulations to ensure all practices are safe and ethical.
- Work closely with your team to keep the pack strong and the store running efficiently.
What Makes You a Good Fit
- Experience in retail, customer service, or as a store associate is a plus, but not required.
- Reliable, responsible, and excited to be involved in helping families grow.
- Team-oriented with strong communication skills.
- Comfortable working flexible retail hours, including weekends.
- Most importantly—you LOVE pets, teamwork, and making customers smile.
