We are seeking a detail-oriented and hands-on PC Builder & Hardware Assembly Technician to join our warehouse workshop team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling, upgrading, testing, and packaging custom desktop computers, laptops, and hardware components to meet quality and performance standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Hardware Assembly: Assemble desktop computers and workstations from bare components, including CPU, motherboard, RAM, GPU, storage drives (SSD/HDD), power supplies, and cooling systems.
- Cable Management: Execute clean, organized, and standardized cable routing to optimize airflow and aesthetics.
- Testing & Diagnostics: Install operating systems (Windows, Linux), configure BIOS/UEFI settings, update drivers, and run stress tests to ensure system stability.
- Troubleshooting: Identify, isolate, and resolve hardware incompatibilities or assembly defects during quality control.
- Warehouse Integration: Assist in component sorting, inventory tracking, workbench maintenance, and safe packaging/labeling of completed units for shipment.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: No Experience requirement, 1+ years of experience in computer assembly, electronics manufacturing, or IT hardware repair preferred (hands-on enthusiasts with demonstrated DIY build experience are welcome).
- Technical Knowledge: Strong familiarity with computer components, form factors, socket types, and interface standards.
- Attention to Detail: Precision in component handling, thermal paste application, and screw torque to avoid component damage.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to work on your feet in a workshop environment and lift boxes/chassis up to 40–50 lbs.
- Language: English necessary, Chinese Mandarin prefered
Benefits & Compensation
- Pay: $22-25 per hour (based on experience)
- Schedule: Monday to Friday 8 Hours and Saturday 10am-2pm
