Responsibilities
- Assist with food preparation, including assembling meals and ensuring proper portioning according to dietary guidelines
- Serve students and staff in a friendly, efficient manner while maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, kitchen equipment, and food service stations throughout the shift
- Follow all health and safety regulations related to food handling, sanitation, and workplace safety
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely meal service during peak hours and assist with clean-up after meals
Qualifications
- Knowledge and understanding of the Catholic Church and its mission.
- Compliant with or gain compliance with Safeguarding All God’s Family.
- Basic computer knowledge required
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent or working towards.
- Two years prior work experience is desirable, preferably in the food service industry.
- Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance.
- Capable of lifting 50 pounds without assistance.
- Good interpersonal skills.
