Job Summary
Join our dynamic team as a Part-Time RBT / Behavior Technician, where you will play a vital role in supporting children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism. Responsibilities
- Implement behavior intervention plans based on applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles to promote skill development and reduce challenging behaviors
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including grooming, feeding, and hygiene routines, fostering independence and confidence
- Collect accurate data on client behaviors, progress, and responses to interventions to inform treatment adjustments
- Support teaching sessions that enhance communication, social skills, and functional life skills tailored to each individual’s needs
- Maintain detailed medical documentation, care plans, and behavioral health records in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Collaborate with supervisors and team members to develop and update individualized treatment goals and strategies
- Foster a positive, patient-centered environment that encourages growth, learning, and emotional well-being for clients
Experience
- Prior experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred but not required; training provided for motivated candidates
- Knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques, applied behavior analysis (ABA), and behavior management strategies is advantageous
- Familiarity with special education settings or patient care environments enhances your ability to succeed in this role
- Strong organizational skills for data collection, medical documentation, and maintaining accurate records
- Compassionate attitude with excellent communication skills to build rapport with clients and their families
- Ability to work flexible afternoon and evening shifts in a fast-paced setting while maintaining professionalism and patience
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
