Responsibilities
- Load and unload material utilizing conveyor and pay-loader
- Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Maintain accurate logs of vehicle maintenance and cargo details.
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations while on the road.
- Communicate effectively with dispatcher regarding any potential issues.
- Ensure that the truck is kept clean and in good working condition.
- Follow authorized trucking routes
Overview
This is a 2-2-3 Position. 3pm-3am
Example of schedule Week 1: Wednesday and Thursday
Example of schedule Week 2: Monday-Tuesday-Friday-Saturday-Sunday
Repeat. These may be reversed due to the start date
We work 24/7/365 Holidays and weekends are mandatory
Pay
Starting $24.50/hour
Saturdays and picked up shifts (not required) $36.75/hour
Sundays and Worked Holidays $49.00/hour

Skills
- Proficient in operating manual transmission vehicles.
- Experience with route driving and navigating various terrains.
- Familiarity with freight handling procedures and safety protocols.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with team members and clients.
- Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance practices.
- Must have an insurable driving record

Qualifications
- Valid CDL-A license with a clean driving record
- Fed Med
- Experience operating manual transmission trucks
- Proven truck driving experience with freight delivery, including route driving and load & unload procedures.
- Ability to operate forklifts or other loading equipment is advantageous.
Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
