Arrowaste is seeking drivers to run local routes out of our Jenison, MI location!

Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a garbage truck to collect waste from residential and commercial locations.
- Follow daily routes and schedules to ensure timely collection of waste.
- Communicate with the dispatch team to report any issues or delays.
- Ensure proper handling and disposal of materials according to company and safety standards.
- Conduct routine inspections and light maintenance of the vehicle to ensure safe operation.
- Assist with loading and unloading of waste, when necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of pickups and report any discrepancies.
- Provide excellent customer service and handle any customer inquiries in a professional manner.
- Comply with all local, state, and federal transportation and safety regulations.
Requirements:
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) required, Class A or B preferred.
- Clean driving record ((No restrictions/DUI’s in the last 5 years).
- Able to pass a DOT physical & drug test
- Ability to work early mornings, and occasional weekends.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical labor.
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.
- Able to work w/ little supervision (you're solo in a truck, controlling your own environment!)
- Previous experience in the waste industry or a similar field preferred, but not required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 45 – 55 per week
