Duties
- Prepare ingredients and assemble components for menu items according to established recipes and standards
- Cook and plate dishes efficiently, maintaining consistency and presentation quality
- Follow food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures at all times
- Assist with menu planning by providing input on ingredient availability and prep needs
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, ensuring compliance with health regulations
- Support catering events and special functions by preparing large quantities of food as needed
- Serve food promptly and courteously to guests or team members, ensuring a positive dining experience
Experience
- Previous kitchen experience in a restaurant, catering, or food service environment is highly preferred
- Familiarity with food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen equipment
- Strong knife skills and ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently under pressure
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper sanitation practices
- Experience with meal preparation, food handling, and serving in a fast-paced setting
- Background in dietary department or dietary aide roles is a plus but not required
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while maintaining attention to detail

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
