The Senior Physician Recruiter in the Permanent Placement division is responsible for leading recruitment efforts to place physicians into permanent roles within hospital systems, private practices, and healthcare organizations nationwide. Prospect, qualify, and match physicians to permanent positions within hospital systems, private practices, and healthcare organizations across the country. This involves understanding the unique needs of each client and identifying candidates with the right qualifications, experience, and cultural fit.
Generate and manage a pipeline of potential physician candidates for open requisitions by consistently engaging in proactive sourcing strategies. This includes cold calling, networking, utilizing referrals, and leveraging existing databases to ensure a steady flow of qualified candidates.
Evaluate candidates’ knowledge, skills, and experience by conducting thorough screenings, interviews, and assessments. Ensure that all candidates meet the specific clinical, professional, and cultural requirements of each client’s vacancy before progressing them through the recruitment process.
Leverage online platforms, social media, and job boards to develop a diverse pool of qualified physicians. Use a range of online tools and resources to actively source, engage, and build relationships with both active and passive candidates.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and physicians, ensuring consistent communication and follow-up throughout the recruitment process. Serve as a trusted advisor to clients by providing insights on market trends, compensation structures, and hiring best practices.
Collaborate with internal teams to coordinate the recruitment lifecycle, from candidate outreach and interview coordination to offer negotiation and onboarding. Work closely with the client services team to ensure placements meet client expectations and drive long-term partnerships.
Utilize Bullhorn CRM to manage candidate data, track recruitment activities, and maintain accurate records. Ensure compliance with organizational standards and provide regular updates on the status of requisitions and candidate pipelines.
Negotiate job offers between candidates and clients, ensuring that terms align with both parties' expectations and market standards. Provide guidance to candidates on compensation, benefits, and contractual terms.
Stay informed on industry trends and changes in healthcare recruitment, including physician specialties, market demands, and emerging healthcare organizations. Use this knowledge to advise clients and adapt recruitment strategies as necessary.
The role is primarily office-based, with work conducted during standard business hours, Monday through Friday. The office environment is fast-paced and dynamic, with frequent interaction between team members and departments.
Minimal to moderate travel may be required to attend client meetings, industry events, or conferences, depending on business needs and relationship-building opportunities. Candidates must provide a valid Driver’s License and proof of Auto Insurance prior to employment.

A minimum of 5 years of experience in recruiting permanent physicians, ideally within an agency setting. This experience should include full-cycle recruitment, from sourcing to placement, with a proven track record of success.
Strong background in physician recruitment, demonstrating a deep understanding of healthcare staffing, industry-specific challenges, and client needs within hospital systems, private practices, and healthcare organizations.
Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills with the ability to handle objections, manage resistance, and close placements effectively. Must be comfortable navigating challenging recruitment conversations and finding solutions that benefit both clients and candidates.

Experience using Bullhorn CRM or similar recruitment management systems to track candidate data, manage pipelines, and ensure compliance with organizational standards.
