Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Lawn Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic landscape team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the beauty and health of outdoor spaces through a variety of lawn care, landscaping, and horticultural tasks. The candidates we are looking for are experienced in operating hand tools related to the job, experienced in maintenance and upkeep of equipment, respectful to others, and are self motivated achievers. We do all kinds of work, need motivated people that are willing to learn.
Responsibilities
- Perform mowing, edging, trimming, and blowing to ensure lawns and landscapes are pristine and well-maintained
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and landscaping equipment such as lawnmowers, trimmers, blowers, and excavators safely and efficiently
- Conduct landscape maintenance including planting, pruning, tree care, shrub trimming, and garden bed upkeep
- Assist with irrigation system installation, repairs, and adjustments to promote healthy plant growth
- Support hardscape projects by preparing sites, laying pavers or stones, and maintaining pathways or patios
- Perform installation of sod of all types, grade dirt around homes for better water shed.
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment and perform basic maintenance to ensure optimal operation
Experience
- Prior experience in lawn care, landscaping, or horticulture is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates
- Mechanical knowledge is beneficial for operating and maintaining landscaping machinery and tools
- Familiarity with landscape maintenance practices including tree trimming, gardening techniques, and irrigation systems is advantageous
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions with physical stamina for manual tasks
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to power tools, heavy equipment such as excavators, and construction activities
- Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to property upkeep and safety standards
