Job Title: Experienced Advanced Irrigation Technician

The Samara Company is looking for an experienced Advanced Irrigation Technician to join our team. This position is for someone with strong irrigation knowledge, leadership ability, and experience managing irrigation systems in a commercial landscaping setting.
Applicants must have 3+ years of experience in irrigation management and be confident diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and managing irrigation systems.
Responsibilities include:
- Diagnose and repair irrigation system issues
- Perform irrigation inspections, startups, shutdowns, and service calls
- Manage irrigation repairs and maintenance for commercial properties
- Troubleshoot valves, controllers, wiring, sprinkler heads, main lines, lateral lines, and other irrigation components
- Communicate clearly with managers, clients, and crew members
- Complete work orders, notes, and photos as required
- Help ensure irrigation work is completed correctly, safely, and efficiently
- Maintain company tools, equipment, and vehicles
- Follow company safety procedures and driving policies
Requirements:
- Minimum 3+ years of irrigation management experience
- Strong knowledge of commercial irrigation systems
- Ability to troubleshoot and complete irrigation repairs independently
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Must have a clean driving record
- Must be reliable, professional, and able to work independently
- Ability to lead, communicate, and stay organized
- Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus, but not required
Preferred experience:
- Commercial landscaping or property maintenance irrigation experience
- Experience using work order or field service software
- Experience leading irrigation crews or training team members
