As an Aquatics Coordinator, you'll play a key leadership role in shaping a dynamic pool environment where participants of all ages can grow, learn, and thrive. - Help children and families reach their full potential through aquatics programs

- Lead and inspire a team of lifeguards and swim staff who embody our core values: Caring, Honesty, Respect, and Responsibility
- Ensure all aquatic activities are safe, engaging, and aligned with YMCA standards
- Champion water safety through swim testing, education, and community outreach
- Help create a fun, welcoming environment that keeps members coming back
- Recruit, train, and mentor a team of lifeguards and aquatics staff
- Build confidence through ongoing in-services and hands-on coaching
- Lead by example—demonstrating professionalism, vigilance, and teamwork
- Maintain a clean, safe, and well-equipped aquatic facility
- Oversee scheduling, certifications, and essential documentation
- Support emergency preparedness and ensure staff are always rescue-ready
- Promote aquatics programs and water safety initiatives
- Collaborate with branch leadership and community partners
- Represent the YMCA mission through every interaction
