Requirements of the Assembly Technician
- Good hand coordination and finger dexterity; must pass dexterity test for Assembly position
- Ability to walk 6–7 miles per shift
- Ability to stand for most of the day and do repetitive tasks
- Able to bend, twist, lift (up to 32 lbs), push, pull, and squat
- Strong attention to detail when checking parts
- Able to work full shifts, 5-7 days a week
Responsibilities of the Assembly Technician
- Use tools and machines to build and inspect parts
- Simple troubleshooting
- Clean work areas by sweeping, mopping, and wiping down equipment
- Read and follow simple instructions using charts, graphs, and labels
- Move between different workstations (loops) as needed
- High school diploma or GED preferred
