Responsibilities

- Prepare and cook food items following established recipes and safety standards, demonstrating proficiency in knife skills, slicing techniques, and food handling procedures
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, mixers, slicers, and other culinary tools
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by following proper sanitation protocols, including cleaning utensils, surfaces, and equipment regularly
- Collaborate closely with kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation and ensure timely service delivery
- Support food safety management practices by adhering to health regulations and proper food storage procedures
- Assist with catering events or special meal requests while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
Requirements
- Previous experience in dietary departments or food service environments is highly preferred
- Demonstrated culinary experience with knowledge of menu planning, food preparation, and cooking techniques
- Familiarity with operating kitchen equipment safely and effectively
- Strong understanding of food safety standards in production environments
- Experience with food handling, recipe adherence, and meal preparation in restaurant or catering settings
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with kitchen staff and team members
- Ability to perform cleaning duties diligently to uphold hygiene standards
- Knowledge of dietary restrictions and special diet requirements is a plus
