Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Line Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients and cook menu items according to standardized recipes and safety standards in a timely manner.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, grills, slicers, mixers, and other culinary tools.
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen areas to uphold food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Assist with menu planning by providing input on dish preparation techniques and ingredient selection.
- Follow food handling procedures diligently to ensure proper storage, temperature control, and hygiene practices.
- Collaborate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation and ensure smooth kitchen operations.
- Adhere strictly to recipe guidelines, portion control, and presentation standards to deliver consistent quality.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated culinary experience with knife skills, slicing techniques, and food preparation methods.
- Knowledge of safety standards in food production and food safety management practices.
- Experience operating various kitchen equipment safely and effectively.
- Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with dietary department procedures or dietary aide experience is a plus.
- Ability to follow recipes accurately, maintain cleanliness standards, and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
