Overview

Responsibilities
- Assist with allergy skin testing procedures, including preparation and patient monitoring
- Administer injections, medications, and IV infusions following strict protocols and safety standards
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs, medical history, and symptom evaluation
- Support physicians during diagnostic evaluations such as spirometry or other allergy testing modalities
- Maintain accurate medical documentation within Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems like ModMed, Extract,
- Educate patients on allergy management plans, medication use, and lifestyle modifications
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and infection control policies during all patient interactions
Experience
- Valid LPN license with current state certification required
- Prior experience working in allergy or immunology settings preferred but not mandatory; relevant experience in medical office, urgent care, or hospital environments is highly valued
- Demonstrated proficiency with EMR/EHR systems such as ModMed, Epic, Cerner, or Athenahealth
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and pharmacology related to allergy care
- Experience administering injections, IV infusions, and performing venipuncture or phlebotomy procedures
- Familiarity with patient assessment techniques including vital signs and physical examinations
- Strong understanding of infection control practices and sterile techniques in clinical settings
Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
