Responsibilities

- Follow strict food safety protocols for handling, storage, and sanitation to maintain a hygienic environment.
- Support menu planning by suggesting creative ideas and ensuring ingredient availability.
- Contribute to cleaning duties such as washing dishes, sanitizing workstations, and maintaining overall kitchen cleanliness.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate meal production and address any operational needs.
- Help with food presentation and portioning to uphold aesthetic standards for served meals.
Requirements
- Previous experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is highly desirable.
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen operations within the food industry or restaurant settings.
- Knowledge of safety standards related to food handling, storage, and production processes.
- Proficiency in using kitchen tools such as knives with slicing techniques that ensure safety and efficiency.
- Experience with menu planning, recipe adherence, and catering is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with kitchen staff and team members.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions accurately while maintaining high-quality food safety practices.
