Member Duties : All VISTA Volunteers serve full-time, 40 hours per week for a full 12-month term. This is an in-person position and the selected candidates must live within commuting distance of San Francisco, CA. AmeriCorps VISTA Volunteers serve as a key support to host site staff and help build local public health capacity. VISTA volunteers improve operational capacity and build a coordinated response to the public health challenges. At FACES San Francisco, the VISTA Volunteer will: design new curriculum; create a library of media content for web and social media use; and conduct a comprehensive update to the existing Community Resource Guide.
