About Mokwheel
Mokwheel is a fast-growing premium e-bike brand with a retail shop in Brea. We build electric bikes for outdoor adventurers, commuters, and riders of all kinds — and our shop is where customers come to see, touch, and experience them in person.
The Role
We're looking for an enthusiastic shop associate who takes pride in their space, loves bikes, and enjoys talking to people. This is a hands-on role — you'll keep the shop running clean and sharp, help assemble and repair bikes, and be the face of Mokwheel when customers walk through the door.
This is a full-time/part-time position with room to grow for the right person.
Responsibilities
- Keep the shop clean, organized, and customer-ready at all times
- Assemble new bikes and perform basic repairs and maintenance
- Greet customers, answer questions, and guide them through our product lineup
- Help customers find the right bike for their needs and close sales
- Represent the Mokwheel brand with energy and pride
What We're Looking For
- Bilingual in English and Mandarin Chinese is strongly preferred.
- Hands-on, mechanically inclined — you like figuring out how things work
- People person — comfortable talking to customers and making them feel welcome
- Reliable, shows up on time, takes initiative without being told
- Passion for bikes, e-bikes, or the outdoor/active lifestyle is a big plus
- Prior bike shop or retail experience is a bonus, not a requirement — we'll train the right person
Schedule & Pay
- Full-Time/ Part-Time | 3 - 4 days per week
- On-site in Brea, CA
- $17–$20/hr based on experience
- Candidates with e-bike or bike shop experience can expect to start at the higher end
Compensation & Benefits
- Base pay plus commission
