CORE RESPONSIBILITIES OF ADJUNCT INSTRUCTORS:

Monroe University is seeking adjunct instructors in each of the schools and for general education courses. Positions are available for teaching on Monroe’s Bronx and New Rochelle campuses and for teaching online. Classes are offered during the day and in the evening virtual, and for the graduate division we offer a hybrid schedule on Saturdays.
We are seeking dynamic, industry-experienced Adjunct Faculty members to teach foundational and specialized undergraduate courses in new BBA in Digital Marketing degree program at Monroe University.

Adjuncts are responsible for instruction, course preparation, developing instructional materials, grading and assessment, and professional responsibilities as a member of the instructional team of a school or academic department.
Available Courses
· Mass Communications: An introductory course exploring media evolution, digital convergence, and the societal impact of modern mass platforms.
· Copywriting for Digital Messaging: A practical course focused on writing high-converting ad copy, emails, short-form video scripts, and SEO content.
· Audience Appreciation in Mass Media: An analytical look into consumer psychology, data analytics, demographics, and how modern audiences consume media.
· Integrated Advertising and Promotion: A strategic framework course covering omnichannel campaign planning, brand building, and ROI measurement.
REQUIRED EDUCATION/KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS
Education:
- Master’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration (MBA), or a closely related field (Required).
- Ph.D. or terminal degree in a related field (Preferred).
Experience:
- Minimum of 5+ years of current, hands-on professional experience in marketing, advertising, or media (Required).
- Prior college-level teaching (Preferred).
Skills:
- Deep familiarity with modern marketing tech stacks, social media platforms, or copywriting frameworks.
- Excellent public speaking, presentation, and written communication skills.
