Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks or commercial vehicles with manual transmission to deliver pharmacy orders across designated routes.
- Load and unload medication packages, ensuring proper handling and security during transit.
- Navigate route driving efficiently, adhering to scheduled delivery times and traffic laws.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers professionally, answering questions, and ensuring their satisfaction upon delivery.
- Verify delivery details, obtain signatures when required, and document all delivery transactions accurately.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform routine inspections to ensure safety standards are met.
- Assist with warehouse tasks such as moving stock using forklifts or pallet jacks when necessary.
Experience
- Previous delivery driver experience, preferably within courier or pharmacy settings.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations, including heavy lifting and moving items safely.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating box trucks or similar vehicles is preferred.
- Knowledge of route planning and navigation tools to optimize delivery efficiency.
- Ability to lift heavy packages regularly and perform physical tasks involving manual handling equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor.
