Position Overview Lead Teacher:
We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Lead Teacher to join our close-knit, friendly team. In this role, you will work directly with our children (ages 6 weeks to 12 years), providing a safe and stimulating space for them to explore, learn, and grow. Our ideal candidate is someone who thrives in a collaborative and family-like environment and is excited to contribute to a positive, supportive culture where both children and staff feel valued.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement age-appropriate curriculum and activities to support children’s emotional, social, and cognitive development.
- Foster a safe, loving, and positive classroom environment that promotes security and well-being.
- Observe and document children’s progress, creating a personalized approach to their learning.
- Build strong, trusting relationships with children and their families.
- Work closely with fellow teachers and staff in a team-oriented environment to maintain a positive, friendly atmosphere throughout the center.
- Ensure the classroom is clean, organized, and equipped with learning materials.
- Adhere to health, safety, and licensing regulations.
Qualifications:
- Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field (preferred but not required).
- Child Development Associate credential AND 2 years work experience related to caring for young children
- Knowledge of early childhood development and best practices.
- A patient, creative, and energetic approach to teaching young children.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
Position Overview Assistant Teacher:
As an Assistant Teacher, you’ll play a key role in supporting our lead teachers in creating a safe, fun, and educational space for children ages 6 weeks-12 years. You’ll work closely with children, helping them develop social, emotional, and cognitive skills through play and guided activities. We are looking for someone who thrives in a supportive, family-oriented team environment and who is excited to contribute to a positive experience for both children and staff.
Qualifications for Assistant Teacher:
- High School diploma or its equivalent.
- OR One year of experience working with children less than 13 years of age
- A love for working with children.
- Patient, caring, and creative with the ability to connect with young children.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
