Job Summary:
The Retail Furniture Sales Associate is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the sales floor, managing customer relations, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience. This role involves developing and implementing sales strategies, achieving sales targets, and maintaining high standards of customer service. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in retail sales, with excellent communication skills.
- Set Schedule with Flexible hours (40 +/- hour position).
- Alternating Saturday shift (No working every weekend).
- Closed on Sundays.

Responsibilities:
- Set and achieve sales goals and objectives for the store.
- Implement effective sales strategies and training.
- Monitor sales performance.
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with their inquiries and purchases.
- Operate cash registers and point-of-sale (POS) systems to process transactions accurately.
- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, cleaning and arranging merchandise displays.
- Stay up-to-date on product knowledge to effectively communicate features and benefits to customers.
- Work closely with other departments, such as marketing and inventory management, to align sales strategies with overall business goals.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in sales.
- Outgoing personality.
- Comfortable working with computers and tablets.
- Organizational skills to follow up with customer inquiries.
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods.
- Ability to occasionally lift items to perform floor moves and decorating.
- Comfortable helping customers make design decisions.
