Job Posting: Audio Visual (AV) Manager
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Audio Visual (AV) Manager to oversee the design, installation, operation, maintenance, and support of enterprise audiovisual systems across a corporate office, conference centers, executive boardrooms, and event spaces. The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with leadership, project management, and customer service skills to deliver reliable, high-quality AV experiences.
This role will manage AV operations from project planning through commissioning while supporting live events, executive meetings, digital collaboration technologies, and future technology initiatives.
Key ResponsibilitiesAV Operations
- Manage day-to-day operation and maintenance of enterprise AV systems.
- Ensure conference rooms, executive boardrooms, collaboration spaces, and event venues remain fully operational.
- Troubleshoot complex AV, networking, and signal flow issues.
- Support live and hybrid meetings, webinars, and corporate broadcasts.
Project Management
- Lead AV installation projects from planning through client turnover.
- Coordinate contractors, vendors, integrators, facilities teams, and IT staff.
- Review construction drawings, signal flow diagrams, and system documentation.
- Oversee equipment commissioning, testing, and quality assurance.
Technical Leadership
- Configure and support:
- Crestron control systems
- Digital Signal Processors (DSPs)
- Microsoft Teams Rooms / UC platforms
- Video walls
- Digital signage
- Video conferencing technologies
- Audio systems
- Broadcast equipment
- Build, organize, and troubleshoot AV racks.
- Manage fiber and copper infrastructure.
- Maintain documentation and system standards.
Team Leadership
- Supervise AV technicians and contractors.
- Establish installation standards and best practices.
- Provide technical mentoring and training.
- Coordinate project schedules and workload priorities.
Customer Support
- Deliver white-glove support for executive leadership.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to understand business requirements.
- Maintain high customer satisfaction during meetings and live events.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience supporting commercial AV systems.
- 3+ years in a lead technician or supervisory role.
- Strong experience with:
- Crestron
- DSP programming and configuration
- UC Engines
- Video conferencing platforms
- Rack builds
- Video wall installations
- Signal flow troubleshooting
- Network infrastructure and VLANs
- Experience supporting live broadcasts or production environments.
- Ability to read blueprints and AV schematics.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- CTS certification (preferred)
- Experience with D-Tools
- Knowledge of Microsoft Teams Rooms and Zoom
- Experience managing AV vendors and integrators
- Broadcast production experience
- IT systems administration experience
- Familiarity with enterprise networking

- Planar Certified
- BIAMP Certified
- Chief Mount Certified
- OSHA 40 / SST
- CTS or CTS-I (preferred)
