Overview
CPGIO is seeking an Assistant Manager, Warehouse Systems & Technology to support the daily performance, reliability, and improvement of the systems that power our warehouse and fulfillment operations.
This role serves as the connection between warehouse operations and technology, ensuring the Warehouse Management System (WMS), shipping platforms, and related tools run smoothly and efficiently. The ideal candidate is tech-savvy, hands-on, and comfortable troubleshooting issues, supporting users, and improving operational processes in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities May Include
- Monitor and support daily performance of WMS, shipping systems, and warehouse technology
- Troubleshoot system issues and minimize downtime
- Coordinate with vendors for system support, maintenance, and upgrades
- Identify opportunities to improve warehouse efficiency and accuracy through technology
- Support testing and implementation of new systems, tools, and features
- Train warehouse staff on systems, scanners, and operational tools
- Provide ongoing user support and resolve system-related issues
- Generate and maintain reports related to system performance and operational metrics
- Maintain accurate inventory and order data across warehouse systems
Skills
- Proven experience in warehouse supervision combined with strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP systems like AS400, and supply chain analytics tools.
- Expertise in process improvement methodologies such as Lean and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Deep understanding of transportation management systems (TMS), freight logistics, fleet management, and dispatching.
- Strong grasp of inventory management techniques including inventory control, demand planning, production planning, and procurement.
- Ability to analyze complex supply chain data for insights into operations management and cost reduction strategies.
- Excellent leadership skills with supervisory experience overseeing warehouse teams engaged in shipping & receiving, order fulfillment, forklift operation, and materials handling.
- Familiarity with 3PL providers, NVOCC operations, purchasing procedures, and transportation planning processes.
- Proficiency in using warehouse management system software along with supply chain tools like AS400 or equivalent platforms.
- Strong communication skills for collaborating across departments and managing vendor relationships effectively. Qualifications
- Previous experience supporting warehouse systems or operations technology preferred
- Experience with WMS, shipping platforms, or ecommerce fulfillment systems strongly preferred
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to operational needs
- Hands-on, detail-oriented work style

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
