Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Dental Sterilization Technician, where your expertise ensures the highest standards of infection control and patient safety. All applicants must be able to work at any of our 4 office locations, locations are Mill Creek, Everett, Snohomish and Arlington.
Responsibilities
- Properly clean, disinfect, and sterilize dental instruments using approved methods and equipment to maintain strict aseptic conditions.
- Manage inventory levels of sterilized supplies and dental instruments, ensuring all items are available for daily procedures.
- Follow detailed protocols for instrument processing, including inspection, packaging, and documentation of sterilization cycles.
- Assist clinical staff by preparing sterile instruments and supplies for patient procedures efficiently and accurately.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations related to sterile processing and infection control standards.
- Support the team with general housekeeping duties in the sterilization area to uphold a clean and organized workspace.
Experience
- Prior experience in sterile processing or medical instrument sterilization is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates.
- Strong understanding of aseptic techniques is essential for maintaining infection control standards.
- Basic knowledge of anatomy increases proficiency in handling specialized dental instruments accurately.
