Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Nanny/Housekeeper to join a warm, family-oriented household. This role combines attentive childcare with comprehensive housekeeping responsibilities, ensuring a safe, nurturing environment for children and a clean, organized home. Responsibilities
- Provide attentive childcare for children of various ages, including infant and kindergarten, ensuring their safety, development, and well-being
- Assist with daily routines such as feeding, bathing, dressing, and nap times for young children
- Prepare nutritious meals and snacks tailored to children's dietary needs and preferences
- Engage children in educational activities, playtime, and age-appropriate teaching to foster growth and learning
- Perform residential housekeeping duties including cleaning, laundry, organizing toys and personal belongings to maintain a tidy home environment
- Support children with homeschool assignments as needed
- Offer personal transportation assistance for Co _Op runs, appointments, or outings while ensuring safety at all times
- Administer basic first aid and CPR in case of emergencies, following proper protocols to ensure safety
- Collaborate with parents to communicate about daily activities, milestones, and any concerns related to the children or household
Requirements (part time up to 16 hours a week, time and days vary)
- Proven experience working with children across different age groups, including infants and preschoolers
- Prior nannying or private home childcare experience preferred; experience with multiple children is highly valued
- Knowledge of childcare best practices including infant care, toddler care, babysitting, daycare experience, and working with children with disabilities
- Strong skills in cleaning, residential housekeeping, meal preparation, and laundry management
- Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional training in caregiving for children with special needs is a plus
- Ability to assist with personal transportation safely using a valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle if necessary
- Excellent communication skills to work collaboratively with parents and other household staff
- Energetic attitude combined with patience, reliability, and a genuine passion for caring for children
