Genesis is hiring for Quality Inspector
- Perform inspections according to specifications, including:
- Shipping and receiving inspections
- AQL inspections of assembled products
- Product inspections based on drawings, standards, and defined criteria
- Verification of components for deviations using precision measuring instruments
- Create comprehensive inspection reports as required
- Review production rejects and work orders
- Maintain and manage the rework system per company procedures
- Follow all applicable internal procedures and protocols
- Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with company standards
- Perform material movements and transactions within ERP/MRP systems
- Provide clerical and administrative support as needed
- Support corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) initiatives
- Assist with process audits and continuous improvement efforts
- Manage calibration control of gauges and tools
- Collect and record data for quality and operational purposes
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years of related experience in a similar role
- Strong communication and analytical skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (including Outlook)
- Ability to interpret and apply established criteria and make sound judgments
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Effective multitasking and time management skills
- Ability to stand for up to 8 hours regularly
- Ability to lift:
- 15 lbs regularly
- 25 lbs occasionally
- 50 lbs rarely
