Assists the nursing staff by performing patient care duties under the supervision of a registered nurse. Provides patient care within defined limits and assists in maintaining a safe and sanitary environment in the patient care areas. Assists in the provision of dietary nourishment/meals for patients, and assists in housekeeping duties for the unit.
