We are seeking a friendly, organized, and patient-focused Front Office Coordinator to join our growing oral surgery practice. As the first point of contact for patients, referring offices, and visitors, this role is essential in creating a positive patient experience while ensuring the efficient operation of the practice. The Front Office Coordinator is responsible for managing patient communications, scheduling appointments, coordinating referrals, answering insurance and treatment-related questions, and supporting patients throughout their care journey.

Responsibilities
- Answer incoming phone calls promptly and professionally.
- Schedule consultations, surgeries, and follow-up appointments.
- Assist patients with questions regarding treatment, procedures, insurance benefits, and financial arrangements.
- Verify insurance information and provide benefit estimates when applicable.
- Obtain referrals, imaging, records, and necessary documentation from referring offices.
- Communicate effectively with referring offices regarding patient care and scheduling needs.
- Welcome and assist patients upon arrival while ensuring a positive experience.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Coordinate pre-operative and post-operative patient communications.
- Collaborate with providers and team members to ensure efficient patient flow and schedule management.
Qualifications
- Previous dental or oral surgery experience required.
- Strong computer, data-entry, and typing skills are required.
- Dental and Medical Insurance knowledge preferred but not required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Professional, positive, and patient-centered attitude.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.
