American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN for a float pool position covering multiple critical care and intermediate care units, requiring Epic experience and active VA or compact RN licensure.

Float pool position covering multiple ICU and intermediate care units, including Medical ICU, Thoracic Cardiovascular ICU, Coronary Care Unit, Surgical Trauma ICU (Level 1), Neuro & Neurosurgery ICU, Critical Care and Intermediate Care Special Pathogens Unit, Thoracic Cardiovascular Intermediate Unit, Surgical Trauma Intermediate Unit, Neuro & Neurosurgery Intermediate Unit, and ED Boarders

Night shift, 7p–7a (4x12-hour shifts per week)

36 or 48 hours available per week

Every other weekend required

Every other holiday required

Floating to various ICU and intermediate care units is required per the facility's float policy

EMR: Epic experience required

Active VA or compact RN license; pending VA license will be accepted

Current BLS and ACLS certifications required

Epic EMR experience required

ICU nursing experience required, including comfort floating across multiple critical care environments

Two professional references required for consideration

Copy of Driver's License and Social Security Card required for consideration

Provides critical care nursing across a diverse range of ICU and intermediate care units, including trauma (Level 1), cardiovascular, neuro, surgical, and special pathogens populations

Up to 40 hours of RTO may be approved per 13-week contract; no RTO will be approved during the first 2 weeks of the assignment
-
RTO cannot be approved for the 4th of July or the period of July 12–19
-
Block scheduling cannot be guaranteed

Candidates who have previously worked at this facility must allow 12 months to pass before returning as a traveler
