Job Overview
We are seeking energetic and motivated individuals to join our team as Temporary Restaurant Helpers in a dynamic dining environment. Duties
- Assist with food preparation, plating, and presentation to maintain high standards of quality and efficiency
- Support food handling and safety protocols to ensure compliance with health regulations
- Help serve guests by delivering food and beverages promptly and courteously
- Buss tables by clearing dishes, resetting tables, and maintaining cleanliness throughout the dining area
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing and payments
- Aid in kitchen tasks, including basic cooking, ingredient organization, and equipment sanitation
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and ensuring a positive dining experience
Skills
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments preferred but not required
- Knowledge of food handling, safety standards, and hygiene practices
- Familiarity with restaurant POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and guests
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a busy setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Experience with banquet service, catering, or hotel hospitality is advantageous
- Basic culinary skills and kitchen experience are beneficial for supporting food prep tasks
- Demonstrated commitment to food safety standards and guest satisfaction
