JOB DESCRIPTION: The Project Manager, Implementation Services plays a critical role in delivering successful customer software implementations across complex healthcare and enterprise environments. This customer-facing position leads projects from kickoff through go-live and transition to support, ensuring implementations are delivered on schedule, within scope, and aligned with customer expectations.
Working closely with customer leadership, clinical stakeholders, technical teams, and executive sponsors, the Project Manager coordinates all phases of implementation while managing risks, dependencies, communications, and project outcomes. The ideal candidate is a collaborative leader who excels at relationship management, stakeholder engagement, and driving accountability through influence.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Lead multiple concurrent customer implementation projects from initiation through go-live and transition to support.

Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, issue logs, risk registers, and communication plans.

Serve as the primary point of contact for customer project stakeholders.

Coordinate activities across technical, clinical, operational, and business teams.

Facilitate project kickoff meetings, status reviews, executive updates, risk assessments, and go-live planning sessions.

Monitor project scope, schedules, milestones, dependencies, budgets, and deliverables.

Identify, document, and escalate project risks, issues, and scope changes.

Foster accountability across project teams to ensure timely completion of project milestones.

Support customer readiness activities, testing, training coordination, deployment planning, and project closure.

Maintain implementation documentation and project records in accordance with established standards.

Build trusted relationships with customer leaders, operational stakeholders, and executive sponsors.

Deliver clear and concise project updates to both internal and customer leadership teams.

Support forecasting activities and implementation performance reporting.

Contribute to process improvement initiatives and implementation best practices.
CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:

QUALIFICATIONS:
-
3–5+ years of implementation project management experience.
-
Experience leading customer-facing software, SaaS, healthcare IT, infrastructure, ERP, or enterprise technology implementations.

Demonstrated success managing cross-functional teams and multiple simultaneous projects.

Experience managing project scope, schedules, budgets, risks, dependencies, and stakeholder communications.

Proficiency with project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, SharePoint, or equivalent platforms.

Strong organizational, facilitation, presentation, and communication skills.

Ability to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Experience developing and maintaining detailed implementation plans.

Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.

Professional customer-facing presence and relationship management capabilities.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Healthcare information technology implementation experience.

Experience supporting hospitals, health systems, imaging centers, or clinical organizations.

Familiarity with PACS, RIS, VNA, DMS, EMR/EHR, radiology, cardiology, or related healthcare technologies.

Knowledge of clinical workflows and healthcare operations.

PMP certification.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Ability to use computers, mobile devices, and standard office equipment for extended periods.
